The Housing Czar is a Waikato based independent housing advocacy initiative led by Aksel Bech, former Deputy Mayor of Waikato District Council and former CEO of the Waikato Housing Initiative.  It is a not-for-profit entity that aims to build public awareness and support informed community discourse around the systemic changes required to reset New Zealand's broken housing system.
